Kitten Krazy, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located on private property in Brunswick Hills. Founded in May 2004, our mission is to help ease the pet overpopulation by housing and finding homes for stray, unwanted, and abandoned cats that we take in at our discretion. We are a small operation limited by space and finances and try to keep our roster of cats under 25 to give those we have the maximum amount of care. We focus on taking in healthy and well-socialized kittens under 6 lbs.
8-20-08 Our biggest challenge this spring/summer has been space. In the spring, we took in quite a few sedentary nursing mothers. After a few weeks when the kittens became more mobile, space was a real issue. Raising them became a logistic nightmare as our Klubhouse is small and we are always short on foster homes. We continue to be in need of foster homes to help raise and care for kittens growing to 2 lbs and/or waiting for adoption. ADOPTIONS
Adoptions are by appointment with available animals located at our Klubhouse and various foster homes locally. Our Head Adoption Counselor, Wynne, can be reached at 440-465-9654 or wkreps@verizon.net.
INTAKE
Operating as a privately owned shelter, we typically do not take in animals the same day we receive a call or e-mail. However, our Intake Manager, Bonnie, logs all calls/e-mails and will contact you if we are able to help. She can be reached at 330-635-4501 or kittenintake@aol.com
