EXCITING MEWS!!!

This is very exciting and happy news, especially for all of us staff and volunteers who have loved this cat for so, so long- REESE GOT ADOPTED! I repeat- REESE GOT ADOPTED!!!

Reese is such a dolly of a cat! Unfortunately, she had been exposed to FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and though she had tested negative upon intake to our shelter, we decided to keep her quarantined for the three month incubation period. We tested every two to three weeks, each time resulting in a negative test, and on July 5, she tested NEGATIVE for FeLV for the last time! She went to her forever home yesterday and we are absolutely thrilled (in case you couldn't tell from the exclamation points and caps!)
