Mission Statement

Our committed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization exists to provide high-quality, low-cost adoption, wellness and spay/neuter services to the public and animal organizations.

Vision Statement

Kitten Krazy was created to be a refuge for cats and kittens that are in transition to finding their forever homes. Our dedicated staff and volunteers strive to provide optimum care prior to adoption.

Quick Fix Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic, a program of Kitten Krazy, focuses on reducing the over-population of cats and dogs by providing high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter services. We also partner with our clients to maintain the health of their pets through affordable wellness care.

We believe that educating the community on the importance of cat and dog spay/neuter and wellness is the cornerstone of our mission.

History
Kitten Krazy was started in May 2004 by Wendy Mirrotto in her backyard in Brunswick Hills, OH. After 7+ years of placing almost 2,000 unwanted, stray, abandoned, injured and lost cats and kittens, Wendy and her small group of volunteers made the decision to open a low-cost spay/neuter clinic that would serve the community to help reduce the overpopulation of pets. After 3.5 years of fundraising, grant-writing, and renovating a local warehouse, Quick Fix Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic for Cats and Dogs was opened in July 2011.
As of October 2014, our staff of 16 full- and part-time employees have performed over 17,000 spays/neuters!

Kitten Krazy's Intake Policy
Due to the overwhelming number of requests we receive on a daily basis, we try to limit our intake to healthy, well-socialized kittens under 6 lbs. We are a private organization that takes in, at our discretion, when time, space and finances allow and typically do not take in the same day as the request as we typically have a lengthy waiting list. If you have an unwanted cat, please contact 330-591-4408 and we will take your information and forward it to our intake team to evaluate. All calls are logged and kept for review on a weekly basis. Due to the volume of cats we are asked to take in (50+ in the winter per week, and 200+ in the summer per week), we simply cannot return your call unless we feel we can help.
